Dana started writing as a poet in 2023 when she found she needed a way to express herself after her divorce.  She explains to others that writing is a form of therapy for her.

Dana’s message to the world is the following:  there are always words and sentences that people can use to help them express any type of emotion, whether it be pain, whether it be happiness.

The key is releasing the emotion so it does not have the power to cause damage. Writing poetry has saved Dana’s life in a way others may not understand, but what it did for her, it can also do for others.  Dana is proud and ecstatic to be able to write as well as she does, knowing she just started to write this year.
