Aderemi Gbolahan Emmanuel professionally known as AGE—a pseudonym that has stemmed from coalescing the first letters of his full name—is a Nigerian writer, poet, and stoic philosopher who studies philosophy autodidactically with several notable philosophers available both virtually and physically.

The writer is currently studying the English language at a Nigerian teacher’s training institute where he is serving as an editor-in-chief while also simultaneously teaching the language.

He has written as a ghostwriter for many blogs on the web and as an actual writer for Opera News, Scooper, Mynabo, and a number of other platforms on the internet.

By virtue of his budding influence in the disciplines of English and English Literature, he has earned honorarily from his colleagues and lecturers the professorial title to his credit; the brainchild of the brand ‘Profage’—the short for professor Aderemi Gbolahan Emmanuel.

It is important to emphasize, however, that the scholar doesn’t deserve this title in terms of academic qualifications.

In an attempt to contribute his quota to the literary world, AGE has established several literary platforms including the ProfAGE website and social media handles. He is especially interested in promoting literature and philosophy.

As a writer, he contributes to the aforementioned fields by researching laboriously and simplifying gnomic concepts in Philosophy and Literature. AGE strongly says, “Go fish” to the idea of non-human writing—understanding how untowardly consequential that may be to prospective creatives across the globe.
